align=&#8221;align_left&#8221; el_width=&#8221;20&#8243; accent_color=&#8221;#43959e&#8221;][vc_column_text]Giuseppe Caprotti was born in Milan on December 15, 1960.<br \/>\nHe earned a degree in Contemporary History from the Sorbonne in Paris, where he conducted a major research project on the political, economic, and historical context of South Tyrol\u2014later published by Franco Angeli.<\/p>\n<p>He held senior leadership positions at Esselunga S.p.A. for 19 years, playing a key role in shaping the company\u2019s strategic and organizational growth.<br \/>\nDuring his time with the group, he served as Executive, Head of Non-Food Purchasing, Director of Marketing and Communications, Chief Commercial Officer (with direct responsibility for Purchasing and Marketing), Chief Operating Officer, and ultimately CEO.<\/p>\n<p>Among his most significant contributions was the launch of Esselunga\u2019s first <strong>social responsibility report<\/strong>, published in 2003\u2014an innovative milestone in the Italian retail sector.<\/p>\n<p>After leaving the company, he focused on strategic consulting, working with prominent organizations such as Bain &amp;
