Martino, 9 \u2013 Biassono (MB)<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cMATAXA\u201d project presents the event \u201cUnraveling the Threads.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMATAXA\u201d is a community psychiatry project established in 2021 through the joint initiative of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Associazione \u201cLe Comunit\u00e0 Della Salute O.D.V.\u201d<\/b>\u00a0(Monza) \u2013 a voluntary association with civic, solidarity, and social utility objectives;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Consorzio Comunit\u00e0 Brianza Imprese Sociali<\/b>\u00a0(Monza) \u2013 a consortium of cooperatives and third sector organizations working in the Monza and Brianza area to ensure the well-being of the community and its most vulnerable citizens;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Societ\u00e0 Cooperativa Sociale \u201cNovo Millennio\u201d<\/b>\u00a0(Monza) \u2013 which promotes human solidarity and \u201cthe Pedagogy of Charity\u201d in line with the values of Caritas Ambrosiana;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Societ\u00e0 Cooperativa Sociale \u201cLuciano Donghi\u201d<\/b>\u00a0(Lissone) \u2013 which provides physical and relational spaces for people with mental fragilities and disabilities, supported by teams of professionals;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Azienda Socio Sanitaria Territoriale della Brianza (ASST Brianza)<\/b>\u00a0(Monza) \u2013 part of the Regional Socio-Health System, responsible for prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and care management, in collaboration with:\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"2\">the Associazione di Promozione Sociale \u201cGiulia e Matteo\u201d (Lissone), which aims to help those embarking on or continuing the difficult journey alongside a person affected by psychiatric illness;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\">AS.V.A.P. (Associazione Volontari Aiuto Ammalati Psichici) (Monza), which offers support to people with psychiatric disorders and their families, promotes the adaptation of socio-health services to their needs, and defends their rights in the socio-health districts of Monza, Carate Brianza, Desio, and Seregno;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\">the Ambito Territoriale di Carate Brianza, which brings together 13 municipalities that jointly formulate and implement the local socio-assistance services system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cMATAXA\u201d aims to establish a virtuous model of interaction between the public and private sectors within a \u201cWelfare Mix\u201d framework\u2014a formula characterized by the co-presence of public and private actors in the planning and delivery of social services to citizens.<\/p>\n<p><b>Specifically, the project set out to:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Support the existing psychiatric healthcare structure (the CPS \u2013 Psychosocial Centers);<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Create a territorial psycho-socio-educational service;<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Establish a proximity tutoring service in collaboration with various local entities and associations that have joined the initiative.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Over a two-year period, its initial goal was to follow between 60 and 70 patients through biweekly meetings.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Thanks to the support of the Guido Venosta Foundation, the \u201cMATAXA\u201d teams are implementing rehabilitation and accompaniment interventions for mentally fragile individuals residing in the Carate Brianza area\u2014which, as mentioned above, includes 13 municipalities with a total population of over 153,000 (Albiate, Besana in Brianza, Biassono, Briosco, Carate Brianza, Lissone, Macherio, Renate, Sovico, Triuggio, Vedano al Lambro, Veduggio con Colzano, Verano Brianza).<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Three years after its inception, the Consorzio Comunit\u00e0 Brianza invites you, together with all project partners, to the presentation of the first report on the experimentation of this innovative local approach.
