A commitment that embraces four key areas:\u00a0<b>health, solidarity, culture, and the environment<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Health and Research: acting where it matters, with those who make a difference<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>During the pandemic we supported the European Institute of Oncology (IEO), funding research projects for infection prevention. The initiative included free swabs and serological tests for patients and staff, followed by studies on the immune response of healthcare workers and patients, with the goal of assessing the effectiveness of Covid-19 vaccines.<\/p>\n<p>In response to the health emergency, we also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2020) funded\u00a0<b>12 new intensive care beds<\/b>\u00a0at Milan\u2019s Policlinico Hospital.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2020) provided PPE to Hospice Il Nespolo in Airuno; donated 15 beds to Mandic Hospital in Merate; 6 portable ultrasound scanners, one motorized X-ray unit, and another scanner to Manzoni Hospital in Lecco.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2020) donated a ventilator to Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2020) partnered with Hope Onlus to activate\u00a0<b>18 intensive care units in Brazil<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2020\u20132021) donated a fibroscope and a defibrillator to Niguarda Hospital in Milan (via Urological Association Niguarda Onlus).<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2020\u20132021) provided medical devices to hospitals and practitioners: sanitizing gel for several facilities including Legnano Hospital, Multimedica in Sesto San Giovanni, and Asst Nord Milano; supported AMVI Onlus (Italian Volunteer Doctors) with the purchase of a Medibios disinfection system; donated thousands of washable cotton masks to Save the Children Onlus; provided aid to FIMMG (Italian Federation of General Practitioners).<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2020\u20132023) worked with \u201cLe Comunit\u00e0 della Salute\u201d and the Monza-Lecco-Sondrio Volunteer Center on a project supporting prevention and addressing new poverty in Covid times.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2025\u20132026) promoted youth well-being through the\u00a0<b>Happy.diventare capaci<\/b>\u00a0project, supporting families, schools, and educational networks, together with Minotauro, Spazio Aperto Servizi ETS, CSV Monza-Lecco-Sondrio, and \u201cLe Comunit\u00e0 della Salute\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We believe in medicine that heals, but also in research that prevents, listens, and protects.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Social Commitment and Solidarity: vulnerabilities cannot be ignored<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>In Italy, needs are not only medical but often social, relational, and psychological. With this in mind, we have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2020) worked with\u00a0<b>L\u2019Albero della Vita<\/b>\u00a0to provide food and essentials to families in extreme poverty.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2020\u20132021) supported Caritas Ambrosiana in creating the\u00a0<b>Ostello della Solidariet\u00e0<\/b>\u00a0for the homeless in Lecco.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2020) promoted reception projects with Spazio Aperto Servizi, offering educational, psychological, and material support to abused minors, people with disabilities, and fragile families.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2020\u20132021) supported\u00a0<b>Il Pane Quotidiano<\/b>, which distributes meals and basic goods daily.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2021) with Progetto Arca, launched a major reception initiative for the homeless with dogs, purchasing a 500 sqm farmhouse in Milan\u2019s Baggio district.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2021) took part in the humanitarian response for refugees in the\u00a0<b>Lipa camp (Bosnia)<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2021\u20132022) supported the renovation of a building in Seregno, turning it into a \u201cCasa della Carit\u00e0,\u201d a pathway to dignity and autonomy.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2021 and 2023\u201324) launched the\u00a0<b>\u201cTaxi Solidale\u201d<\/b>\u00a0project, offering free rides to vulnerable people during the pandemic.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2021\u20132023) supported\u00a0<b>free psychotherapy programs<\/b>\u00a0for families in difficulty, in collaboration with Minotauro.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2022) contributed to the\u00a0<b>\u201cSpazio Aperto al Servizio della Comunit\u00e0\u201d<\/b>\u00a0project in Milan, supporting people with disabilities and minors with four community centers across the city.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2025\u20132026) supported\u00a0<b>\u201cSpazi di Crescita\u201d<\/b>, offering educational and psychological support, family assistance, housing autonomy, and tools for independence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Behind every project lies a face, a story, and a possibility of redemption.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Culture and Education: because to grow is also to remember<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Culture is essential nourishment. That is why we chose to invest in initiatives that\u00a0<b>educate, inspire, and build awareness<\/b>, particularly among young people.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2018\u201319 and 2020\u201321) Contributed to the\u00a0<b>\u201cArchitecture of Places, Architecture of Emotions\u201d<\/b>\u00a0award with Amici della Triennale, introducing students to architecture as a way of interpreting reality.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2021) Supported the\u00a0<b>B.Livers project<\/b>\u00a0and their journal\u00a0<i>Il Bullone<\/i>, giving a voice to young people facing complex illnesses.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2018 and 2022\u20132025) With the Lombard Historical Society, promoted five editions of\u00a0<b>\u201cEnter the Library with a Click\u201d<\/b>, bringing students closer to Milan\u2019s history and original archival sources.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2024\u20132025) With Teatro Franco Parenti, supported the play\u00a0<b>\u201cChi come me\u201d<\/b>, offering free tickets to schools and young audiences.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2024\u20132025) With Deascuola and Fondazione Bullone, organized webinars for teachers and students on youth resilience and educational tools.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2025) Supported contemporary art with an exhibition of\u00a0<b>Remo Salvadori<\/b>\u00a0at Palazzo Reale in Milan, curated by Elena Tettamanti and Antonella Soldaini.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">(2025\u20132026) Promoted\u00a0<b>\u201cL\u2019et\u00e0 sospesa\u201d<\/b>\u00a0with Teatro Franco Parenti, using theatre to explore adolescence, fostering dialogue between young people, adults, and educators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Environment: planting trees to cultivate the future<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>In 2024, we launched a\u00a0<b>reforestation project in Albiate<\/b>, covering 25 hectares, to counter climate change and regenerate the landscape by introducing more resilient tree species. In 2025, the project was entrusted to a landscape architect to prepare a proposal for the Archaeology, Fine Arts, and Landscape Superintendency.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Looking Ahead<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The Guido Venosta Foundation will continue to stand alongside those who, day after day, build a fairer, more inclusive, and more aware society.
