Mission
“The Foundation intends, by honoring Guido Venosta’s memory and drawing on his experiences, to promote and contribute to elevating public education toward the highest cultural and solidarity ideals.”
Over the years, the objectives and areas of activity of the Foundation have significantly expanded through the funding and support of projects not only in the field of scientific research and health protection (including the project Le Comunità della Salute), but also extending to projects of solidarity and cultural promotion. This broadening of the Foundation’s scope is reflected in the change of its original name from “Fondazione Guido Venosta. L’uomo contro il cancro” to “Fondazione Guido Venosta,” a change accompanied by several amendments to the Statute aimed at “giving greater impetus to the Foundation’s activities and creating the best conditions to encourage the entry of new members,” including Giuseppe Caprotti and his children Tommaso and Margherita.
After the Covid emergency phase, the Foundation’s new approach to projects also evolved by better structuring the new contracts to be signed in the future. The Foundation’s new projects will be carried out in four main areas:
- Health Protection and Scientific Research
- Solidarity
- Cultural Promotion
- Environmental Protection
The steps to be followed for those wishing to become our partners are as follows:
- Framing and defining objectives
- Preparatory actions
- Intervention
- Monitoring and control
- Replicability elsewhere, with ex-ante verification
- Long-term sustainability, even when the Foundation’s funding has ended (e.g., through PNRR funds)
Note: This website displays all the projects financed by the Fondazione Guido Venosta, some of which have been extensions of those previously initiated by Giuseppe Caprotti himself before he became the Foundation’s president.
