Taxi Solidale – Sorrisi in Corsa A Journey of Solidarity, Sharing and Joy

Project Taxi Solidale
Article published on 22/05/2025 -

The “Taxi Solidale – Sorrisi in Corsa” project was born from the collaboration between  Guido Venosta Foundation and Taxi Service Milano, with the aim of offering much more than just a transportation service: an experience that combines solidarity, a sense of community, and plenty of smiles.

On May 19, 2025, forty students from the Istituto Fondazione Clerici in Milan enjoyed a special day at Parco Faunistico Le Cornelle (BG), accompanied by fifty volunteer taxi drivers who generously contributed their time, professionalism, and hearts.

Every ride was a concrete act of closeness and support for people with disabilities. The initiative was strengthened by the active involvement of law enforcement, the Italian Red Cross—also present with its clown group—and Autostrade per l’Italia, demonstrating a powerful alliance between institutions, citizens, and volunteers.

“Sorrisi in Corsa” is a tangible example of how even a taxi ride can travel the road to inclusion and joy. This initiative promotes a society that is more supportive, attentive, and engaged.

A heartfelt thank you to Taxi Service Milano, Giuseppe Lipia, and Claudio Araldi for making this day possible.
