Objectives and activities carried out, in summary
Fondazione Guido Venosta has decided to support the hospitality projects of Spazio Aperto Servizi, a social cooperative that has been active for over 25 years in the Milan metropolitan area, by covering the extraordinary costs incurred due to the health emergency. In particular, the support includes:
- Additional educational assistance, extra meals, the purchase of computers for distance learning, and further psychological support for 19 children and adolescents who are victims of abuse and mistreatment, accommodated in two specialized residential educational communities focused on trauma care.
- Extra educational support for 40 people with disabilities across 8 micro-communities, as well as additional daily meals that are normally not provided since they are consumed outside the home.
- Accompaniment and support for 22 families benefiting from social housing projects who are facing hardships, with most having lost their employment.
- Provision of personal protective equipment for all the services offered.
